The Brief:

Shon Wong is a personal trainer in Vancouver, B.C. The Eastern Edge Method he created is committed to building strong dynamic sculpted bodies by bringing together a perfect combination of eastern craftsmanship by way of western exercises.

Loki was tasked with forming a bold, energetic brand that would make Shon Wong stand out in a saturated fitness market.

The Project:

We partnered with Shon Wong on creating a new brand strategy and identity to make him stand out in the competitive Vancouver personal training market. We chose to interpret his East meets West fitness techniques throughout his branding.

The identity is bright and bold, inspired by the unique interior decoration of Shon’s studio. The heavy logotype secures an impactful quality that sits well over the pattern or within the context of flat panels of colour in the identity’s palette. Icons were created to represent each of Eastern Edge Method key values – Focus, Harmony, Strength, Vitality, Balance, and Creativity.

We partnered with Shon on brand strategy, social media strategy, print design, digital graphics, and website design and build. Our concepts were used for brand and marketing materials.
