Our challenge
Under a tight timeline, we were tasked with creating a name that reflected the spa’s values of calm, clarity, and natural flow. We landed on Orrin, a name that evokes light, renewal, and nature - drawing from connections to forests and streams, embodying the restorative, transformative experience of the Vancouver spa.
Our insight
Through our discovery we learned that guests at a luxury spa seek more than treatments, they crave a space and experience that reconnects them to themselves and to nature. We found that subtle references to the West Coast’s light, water, and forested landscapes would resonate emotionally, creating a sense of calm, renewal, and timelessness. This guided our naming and storytelling, ensuring every element reflected the restorative journey at the heart of the spa experience.
Our answer
A visual identity that reflects the West Coast’s natural rhythms. Soft, flowing lines and organic shapes echo streams and rivers, while a calming, neutral palette with hints of light and shadow evokes clarity and renewal.
