Our clients are brilliant, brilliant people with great stories to tell, here is a little insight to one of them. Moon Shipping Co. is a retail business who’s identity we created and who we continue to work with on graphic design projects.
Moon Shipping Co. is a new independent home decor shop based in Northern Ireland. It was started by partners Greg and Izzie.
Greg left his home of Belfast 10 years ago to live in London to pursue a career in music and travel through Europe, where he eventually met his partner, Izzie. Inspired by each other and their love for Scandinavian design they relocated back to a perfect little beach house in Tyrella, Northern Ireland to start moon shipping co. Curated from a range of designers, Moon Shipping Co. combines hand made reclaimed wood furniture with contemporary Scandinavian pieces to create a unique modern rustic aesthetic.
With an ethos of working predominantly with bringing in designers to Northern Ireland for the first time, Moon Shipping Co will always strive to offer its customers an exclusive and unique shopping experience.
Asking Greg about his experience of working with Loki Creative he said, “When we first drew up the concept of Moon Shipping Co., we realized primarily that we had to get the branding right. Not having much experience in this field we thankfully turned to Loki Creative. We wanted branding that really fitted our ethos.
“We are a new dynamic company dealing in unique home decor with a heavy Scandinavian influence, so really needed that to reflect in our logo. Loki got this straight away. Paul really understood what we were about and worked tirelessly to achieve it. He explained the importance of having a logo that could be dynamic and organic, one that could work across all mediums and formats, with out compromising the main message and still hold the possibility to evolve as the company grew. Working with Loki, we got so much more out of it than we ever could have imagined and we are very thankful for this.”
