The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Graphic Design Intern to join our team this summer. You’ll support our brand and social teams by creating visual assets for real client and internal projects. This role is ideal for a design student who’s excited about branding, storytelling, and designing for digital platforms, and who wants hands-on experience inside a small, fast-moving creative studio. You’ll gain exposure to how brand strategy translates into social-first visuals, campaigns, and templates.

What You’ll Do

  • Design visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, web, presentations, and occasional print
  • Edit and adapt social media content for clients (reels, carousels, graphics)
  • Contribute to concept development, moodboards, and visual research
  • Support the creation of brand guidelines, social templates, and internal design systems
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, and audience engagement.
  • Conduct basic research to help develop content calendars and social strategy ideas.
  • Help source and organize photos, brand assets, and design files.
  • Participate in brainstorms, reviews, and team meetings
  • Get hands-on experience working with real clients and live projects

Who You Are

  • A full-time or part-time student enrolled at an accredited Canadian college or university
  • Based in Vancouver, BC for the duration of the internship
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or individual with refugee status
    (International students are not eligible)
  • Not participating in another internship program during the Loki internship
  • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Interested in social media, branding, and digital design
  • Thoughtful, collaborative, open to feedback, and eager to learn
